Current Data Availability

Phase I NCEP-driven runs have been simulated and are in the process of being archived. (Note that archiving is a lengthy process, as it involves stringent testing of file format and data integrity, cross-country shipping of terabyte hard-drives, creation of backup copies, and publication of the data to the ESG data portal.)

Most modeling groups have begun simulation of the Phase II (GCM-driven) runs for their first GCM.

CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:

NCEP-driven data for variables from Table 2 for CRCM, ECPC, MM5I*, RCM3, and WRFP.
zg500 (500-millibar height) data from Table 3 for CRCM, ECPC, and WRFP.

*Variables ps and rsds (surface pressure and surface downwelling shortwave radiation) are not yet available for MM5I.

COMING SOON:

Almost all Table 3 variables for RCM3

This data is undergoing QC (quality check) and should be published to ESG in the next couple weeks.

IN PROGRESS:

NCEP-driven data for variables from Table 2 for HRM3.
NCEP-driven data from Tables 1, 3, 4, and 5 for all RCMs.

This data is currently being processed by modeling groups for submission.
